Basic Tests

1. Cut exact sections from a specimen rod (see Material Specimen Preparation)

2. Fit the compress table to the base and the compress head to the inner end of the active rod. Slide the top O-ring to suspend the active rod.

3. Position the specimen in the centre of the compress table.

4. Release the O-ring and allow the compress head to firmly touch the specimen. Apply a vertical force with a testing machine.
